Upcycled by Miu Miu continues to pursue the ideology of sustainability by giving a new life to previously loved denim, in collaboration with Levi’s. The selection of classic denim pieces reshaped by Miu Miu was re-evaluated with the brand’s autonomous and always playful eye and worn by Miu Miu’s muse. Actress Emma Corrin and models Lila Moss and Georgia Palmer posed for Johnny Dufort’s lens.

A kind of celebration of iconic clothing, this project includes vintage MADE IN USA men’s 501 jeans and Trucker jackets from the 1980s and 1990s. Born out of American workers’ clothing and symbolizing the youthful revolt from the mid-1950s, these iconic pieces are customized and personalized by Miu Miu with the game between masculinity and femininity, while also targeting the free-spirited Miu Miu woman. Puffy sleeves and bold leather patches are handcrafted, while vintage denim is embellished with carving motifs inspired by instantly eye-catching Miu Miu crystals, pearls, flowers and all-embroidered Art Deco. Cut-to-the-thigh jeans are complemented by ivory silk satin folds, while Trucker jackets are decorated with oversized white lace collars. Creative and inspiring, no other piece is the same in this collection.

In collaboration with Levi’s, the Upcyled by Miu Miu collection will debut at London Selfridges and Shanghai IAPM in mid-May. The collection will then be available online at miumiu.com, at 18 premium Miu Miu stores worldwide, and at Dover Street Market Los Angeles.
